Galt Collegiate Institute

Galt Collegiate is hosting Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society on Friday May 11, 2012.  Relay for life is a celebration of survival, a tribute to the lives of loved ones, and a night of fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer. 

Relay for Life involves teams of 10 people who participate in a 12 hour, non-competitive relay.  Each person is asked to fundraise $100.  The event will start at 7 pm on Friday May 11 and end at 7:00 am on Saturday May 12.

You may also support this event by volunteering or by purchasing a $5.00 luminary bag, upon which a message or tribute can be written and be displayed by candlelight throughout the evening.
