A reminder that Wednesday, April 17th & Thursday, April 18th are Instructional Support and Evaluation Days. During these days, our teachers will focus on various assessments, evaluations, and observations. These activities will help our students consolidate their learning and work towards meeting the provincial standard for demonstrating overall expectations before the Semester 2 midterm reporting period.

During these days, teachers will have a specific plan to support each student’s academic achievement. These days are highly beneficial for our student’s well-being, as they provide an opportunity for both remediation and a deeper understanding of the topics covered in class.

Students have the choice to complete their work from home on April 17 & 18 unless invited in by staff. Teachers will communicate their expectations and inform the students if they need to attend in-person. For students who attend in-person, the regular GCI daily schedule will be followed, and all teachers will be available during their scheduled class time. School bus transportation will be provided according to the usual schedule.

Students in our ACE & Bridges program will attend in person following their regular schedule. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s teacher or the main office.
