*Please note exams were set to be 75 minutes but students have up to 150 minutes to write; students may leave after the first 75 minutes if they have completed the exam.

 PLEASE NOTE:

  • School buses run on their regular schedule during these three days.
  • Attendance for students without any scheduled exams is optional unless required by the teacher.  However, any student may choose to attend the class for extra help or to complete outstanding work.
  • Evaluations may be postponed for various reasons including inclement weather, bus cancellations, plant malfunctions, etc.  Please do not plan events which require your student to be absent from school on these days or on the days directly following the evaluation period as these will be the days in which the postponed evaluations will be rescheduled.
  • Friday, February 3rd PA Day will not be canceled/postponed if Severe Weather event occurs leading up to this date.
  • If any WRDSB buses are canceled or secondary schools are closed in any geographical areas of the Waterloo Region (Kitchener, Waterloo, Baden, Elmira, Cambridge) the exam schedule for that day in all secondary schools will be postponed.
  • If a severe weather event occurs, all exams will be “shifted” one day, jumping over the scheduled PD day (i.e. the exam schedule for February 2 would be shifted to February 6—sem 2 start would be delayed by a day).
  • The Library will be open for those who wish to engage in quiet study.  The cafeteria will also be open for those who need to work collaboratively together.
  • During any period of the 2 exam days, students could be required by their teacher to be present in class to complete forms of evaluation or complete credit rescue opportunities.
