The girls ice hockey team advanced to the semi finals after winning all 3 pool play games.  They faced the Grey Bruce Highlanders and were victorious by a 3 to 2 score again in overtime.  They then faced undefeated and defending D8, CWOSSA and OFSSA champion St. David’s from Waterloo in the finals.

It was a back and forth battle between 2 determined teams.  Regulation time solved nothing as the score remained 0 to 0.  For the 3rd straight game in a row, the lady Ghosts went to overtime and triumphed over St. David’s.

The girls hockey team are now the CWOSSA gold medalists and were scheduled to represent our region in the provincial championship in Stratford.  Congratulations girls on an incredible accomplishment!
