We invite, students, staff, families, and community members to join us on Sunday, March 8 from 12-4 pm at Kitchener City Hall for the Learn to Play Sledge Hockey event, hosted by Different Abilities, a local youth-run initiative by Waterloo Region District School Board students.

This FREE event will include community booths, para-sport speaker panel, a silent auction and the opportunity to try sledge hockey on the outdoor ice rink. All proceeds raised from the auction will put towards purchasing a sledge for Kitchener City Hall.

Different Abilities aims to end the stigma around physical disabilities through showcasing an individual’s unique and amazing abilities.
