Concert Choir

When we have concert choir it is open to all students of GCI from any grade, and does not require an audition.  The choir performs at both Winter and Spring Concerts, as well as feeder school concerts and other functions at GCI.  The choir also participates in the Ontario Vocal Festival in February.   If you want to sing, but don’t like auditioning, this is the group for you!

Ladies’ Choir

Female vocalists interested in singing a wide variety of music are welcome to participate in this group.

Men’s Choir

Male vocalists interested in singing a wide variety of repertoire are welcome to participate in this group.

Junior Band

This group is made up of both grade 9 and 10 instrumentalists and performs at both Winter and Spring music nights, as well as Grade 8 assemblies and feeder school concerts.

Senior Band

The Senior Band is a group made up of students ranging from grades ten to twelve.  Some of the performances typically include:  Commencement, Winter Concert, feeder school concerts, Grade 8 night, Spring Concert and the Awards Assembly.

Jazz Band

Students who enjoy performing swing, rock and other jazz styles are welcome to come out.  In addition to the Winter and Spring Concerts, the Jazz Band plays feeder school and community concerts.
