Meet the Teacher Night
Posted March 24, 2026
We are looking forward to meeting our GCI families at Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday March 26th between 5:30pm-7:30pm. Our staff will be available to meet you and discuss your student’s progress. Attached is a Teacher Location List, and email addresses, to help you find and to connect to your student’s teachers. Families are asked to keep individual teacher conversations to 5 minutes or less, in order to allow all who attend time to meet their teachers. We will also have student volunteers throughout the building to assist you.If you require a longer meeting, you can connect with individual teachers to set up a time. If you are unable to attend on the 26th, please do not hesitate to email your student’s teacher to set up another time to connect. Hope to see you on the 26th.

Traffic and Travel Safety at GCI
Posted March 23, 2026
We wanted to take a moment to remind families that the turnaround on Dando is designated for school buses, accessible vans, and school taxis. These vehicles rely on clear access in order to safely pick up and drop off students.
To help ensure student safety, families are asked not to stop or park near the turnaround or in posted no-parking zones on Dando, even briefly. Stopping in these areas blocks school vehicles and can create unsafe conditions for students.
If you are driving your child to or from school, please park in permitted areas nearby and allow school transportation vehicles the right of way.
Additional information about traffic and safe travel to school can be found in the Traffic and Travel Safety information sheet.
Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe and ensuring that school transportation can run smoothly for the students who rely on it.
