Parents and Guardians are asked to read the
Responsible Use Procedure (RUP) for the technologies that we use for school. Please make sure that you have read and understood how we use technology in school and agree to those expectations. You can simply click on the ‘AGREE’ button in School-Day like you would for a school event.
The 4070 Responsible Use Procedure for Information, Communication and Collaboration Technologies (RUP) outlines the responsibilities of Waterloo Region District School Board principals, staff, students, and parents/guardians, including partnerships such as adult and continuing education. The RUP provides a set of expectations for users and applies to all information and technology in the board. These expectations align with existing procedures about general conduct in our schools. All resources and technology used in the board must be clearly in support of the goals of Waterloo Region District School Board.”
