Student’s Hair On The Line for Rainbow Railroad

Anna Wienburg, a Grade 12 student at Bluevale Collegiate Institute (BCI) in Waterloo, is putting her hair on the line to raise funds for Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBTQI people seek safe haven from violence and persecution. Upcoming Maintenance on School Grounds

After consultations with various stakeholders including police and community members, the WRDSB has begun conducting essential maintenance in the GCI amphitheatre area. This work is being done to preserve the integrity of the structure and ensure the safety of the site. Work is expected to begin in late June and during this time the GCI amphitheatre will be closed.
