Come get ’em while they’re hot!! BBQ May 4

As part of the Live Free campaign to support the Nutrition for Learning (N4L) program at GCI, there will be a hot dog barbecue for students and staff on the front field (opposite the library) on Wednesday May 4 during the whole lunch hour.
So bring your appetities and cash. Because of generous sponsors*, most of the proceeds go directly to help GCI’s own students.

This event also highlights the upcoming On-line Auction (May 13-15) to support N4L at GCI and St. Andrew’s. Every day more items are being added from local individuals and businesses. More item donations are welcome. (See Mr. Bolton at GCI if you have an item to donate, or a lead on a business which might.) There will also be draws to give prizes to students who arrange donations. The bidding starts on May 13 and ends on May 15. Check out the website to see what is available, and then mark your calendars to get in on the bidding or donating: BiddingOwl.com/NutritionForLearning

Food for the BBQ is being donated by Piller’s Meats and by David Schooley’s Going Home Team of Remax Twin City; and the BBQ unit is courtesy of Bennett GM.
